Life Energy Makes its Debut at This Year’s World Future Energy Summit

 

Last month witnessed Life Energy’s first appearance at the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The summit witnessed high level debate from international leaders and experts, and two exhibitions showcasing the latest technology trends and innovations in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency. The fourth annual summit attracted over 26,000 attendees, from 137 countries, over the span of four days (17th – 20th January, 2011).

The attendees included 3,150 international dignitaries, delegates, and members of media and participants who attended the Opening Ceremony on Day One, which opened with a keynote address from HE Ban Ki-Moon, Secretary General, and United Nations. Additionally over 2,500 school and university students from across the UAE were given insights into the future of renewable energy through guided tours of the exhibition during the course of the event.

In collaboration with their partner P21, from Germany, Life Energy introduced a state of the art energy manager unit for off-grid and grid-connected applications. In addition, Life Energy presented the high efficiency crystalline-based photovoltaic module, which was manufactured by their Spanish partner Brisban Solar.

Life Energy was represented by Abdulraouf Alfeeli, Business Development Manager of Life Energy, Bodour Alnazer, Energy Solutions Engineer, alongside Michael Stelzig, Senior Expert Engineer at P21.
